I’m Loving… Gold Leather, by Atelier Cologne
While on a recent trip to Cape Town I was invited by the InstaEats Cape Town crew to join them and host Mishka Patel for a spot of lunch in the village of Franschhoek. Set amongst centuries old vineyards, splendid Cape Dutch architecture, and majestic mountain farmland vistas, I accepted the invitation with great excitement.
Franschhoek has always been a firm favourite in my book, imbuing a sense of luxury and sophistication unique unto itself. I set out to reflect this in my choice of outfit for the afternoon. My choice of fragrance too would be vitally important, to ensure the final look came together as envisaged.
Since we are enjoying such a lovely warm summer here in South Africa, and I was headed out to lunch, I opted for white linen trousers as a starting point. I pin rolled the trousers to properly showcase my tan leather lace-ups from Steve Madden. These shoes are the perfect accompaniment to a great summer look.
Finishing off my look I opted for my bold-striped pink shirt from Louis ii Shirts and green blazer from Edgars. Having spent time putting this look together, I knew there was only one fragrance that would match the look I had crafted – Gold Leather from Atelier Cologne.
Gold Leather is a seductive fragrance, alluring and enticing from its first application. The fragrance opens with crisp, citrus notes which soon gives way to more spicy plum and pepper, for a fragrance journey that will see you well through the day. I found myself falling in love with the fragrance each time its pleasant scent prevailed upon me while soaking up the indulgence of Franschhoek.
Atelier Cologne is the artisanal-scent brainchild of Sylvie Ganter and Christophe Cervasel, who fell in love while creating their new boutique fragrance range. The secret lies in using a precise concentration of essential oils and extracting the best ingredients from around the globe to preserve their intensity and beauty.
Atelier Cologne, including Gold Leather, is exclusively available at Edgars Mall Of Africa, Sandton City and V&A Waterfront.
