Toady I continue with my Fathers Day Look Book series, my humble attempt to inspire and guide dads back to a sense of style. And, at the same time, offer a few gifting ideas for the much-loved dads for Fathers Day coming up this weekend.

If you are not sure what I am going on about, check out my first post in the series here

Today’s dad has an appreciation for Street Style. He is the dad who cannot wait for the weekend, who eagerly casts aside his workwear on a Saturday morning, only to slip into his favourite joggers-and-sneakers combination. A relaxed fit and comfort drive his style decisions, which must facilitate his busy lifestyle, as he goes about the Saturday morning brunch circuit.

Comfort does not mean this dad sacrifices elements of his style. He keeps his look on-trend by incorporating key statement pieces, such as this yellow knit paired with dark olive green joggers. The pop of colour ensures he stands out in a crowd, for all the right reasons.

His use of statement pieces continues in his selection of accessories, as is evidenced in his selection of this Via Veneta Provoque Untamed iPad Satchel from Via La Moda. Our Street Smart dad is a true African at heart and he confidently expresses this.

Trident Watch Aberdeen Fathers Day Look Book

In keeping with his sense of Street Style, our dad selects for himself a watch that reflects this ethos. The Aberdeen watch from Trident Timepieces hits the mark. Trident offer high quality, well designed watches at a price that allows any dad to own multiple pieces, to reflect his ever-changing style.

Finally our Street Smart dad rounds off his look by carefully selecting his footwear. His desire is to maintain the street theme while at the same time ensure his interpretation sets him apart from pretenders. These navy Storm Trooper embossed leather Chukka Boots from Dune London up his street style cred while giving the overall look a great sporty finish.
