Today on SoapBox Radio I chat to a new friend of mine, Ivor Swartz. I have wanted to chat to Ivor for some time, as he has a story that is truly inspirational and needs to be heard.

Ivor was born in the Western Cape farming town of Grabouw. The death of his father at an early age and the general poverty of everyday life, amongst other things, contributed to Ivor becoming involved in criminal activities. Sentenced to six years behind bars, Ivor recounts memories and experiences from this time.

But Ivor’s story doesn’t end there. It’s what he has done since this time, that is both encouraging and inspiring.

Be sure to catch Ivor on Instagram and Twitter.
