Winter is upon us in full force (today more than ever) as a cold front hits Joburg. For me, winter is a time to keep busy, to fly in the face of the cold boldly asserting “watch, I will still do that”. Provided you up your style game, not only to ensure you are on point, but nice and snug while doing that which you are flying in winters’ very own face.
The friendly folks at Zando.co.za kindly sent me two of my favourites from their Paul Of London range. Man, there were so many great styles to choose from, it took me some time. But decide I did, and this is the result!
The Riverine Affair
Being winter I decided a pair of boots was in order. So I opted for these Paul Of London Mono Lace Up’s. I fell instantly in love with these boots, particularly the clean, crisp all white styling. They present a strong, standout neutral palette which allows me much room in putting interesting outfit options together.
Paired with my olive green joggers, camouflage track top (see another styling option for this piece here) and mesh bomber jacket I was ready to explore. Take that winter.
Dazed and Confused
For my second pair, I opted again for a pair of boots. Why? No reason, one of something is never a good thing I always say. And I really liked these Paul Of London Mocc Lace Up Boot in Olive. A great winter colour!
The styling on these boots reminded me of a classic pair of shoes my grandfather used to wear. Add to that the olive colouring and you once again have a great pair of shoes that are versatile for any winter fashion experiments.
Love these Happy Socks from Zando.co.za which arrived with my boots. Adding a pop of colour to help the olive boots shine for the beauties that they are.
