Do you find yourself often frustrated with the results of your mobile photography? Is the image you see on the screen often not what you saw in real life? Have you ever wondered how you go about upping your mobile photography game, readying yourself for social media-loving when you post them onto your feeds?
Well, I’ve partnered with the folks at Nokia to bring you daily mobile photography tutorials. Think of it as a daily dose of inspiration to help you take your shots from good, to awe-inspiring.
We’ll be looking at aspects such as basic rules of composition (and why they really work), manipulating the depth of field to pop your subject, landscape shots that talk to the heart of every viewer and so much more. Get ready for some inspiration as I take you on a journey!
And, best of all, I have a brand new Nokia 5.3 device that one of you will soon be calling yours! All you need to do is apply the learnings of each days tutorial (watch my blog Facebook Page as well as my other social platforms for these tutorials), shoot an amazing shot with those learnings and post it that day to social media using #ShotonNokia. I have a few vouchers to giveaway randomly during these tutorials, so keep an eye out! At the end of the tutorials (Tuesday 24 November 2020 at 09h00) I will select four finalists and you will tell me who you think has taken the best shot, you have Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (24/25/26 November) to vote. Again, I have a voucher for one of you who vote during this time.
The final winner from the 4 finalists will be selected by an independent professional photographer, taking into account your votes too. This will be done on Thursday 26 November at 14h30.
Join me on a photographic journey as we learn from each other and someone takes home a new Nokia 5.3 mobile phone!
